<p style="text-indent: 22pt; line-height: 200%"><font color="#333333">一份最新调查发现，九成美国人相信神或高级生命的存在，超过一半的美国人至少每天祷告一次。
<P>据六月二十四日华盛顿邮报报导，一项关于美国人宗教信仰的大型调查研究发现，超过九成的美国人——92%，其中包括有五分之一自称是无神论者的美国人，相信有上帝或者更高的宇宙生命的存在，而超过一半的美国人——58%至少每天祷告一次。
<P>这项调查是由皮尤宗教与公共生活论坛（Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life）所发布，此调查还发现有近四分之三的美国人相信天堂的存在，相信好人最终会得到奖励，而能进入天堂；超过六成的人相信没有悔改罪行的坏人，死后会进入地狱接受惩罚。
<P>多数人也相信有天使与魔鬼在世上活动着，并认为如同在过去一般，神迹也在今日不断发生着。
<P>这项研究是此机构针对美国人宗教信仰所做的第二次大规模民意调查，总共面访了超过三万六千位美国成年人。
<P>这个研究再次确认了一个事实，美国是一个有深度宗教性的国家。然而这个宗教传统却有无数细微的元素甚或惊奇增添其中，使它更加复杂与多样化。
<P>举例而言，在自认是无神论者的族群中，有21%的人表示相信有上帝或高级宇宙生命的存在，而在另一群自认未可知论者中，也有超过半数有着相同的看法。
<P>但是绝大多数美国人，这群多数在宗教上持保守态度的人民，却对其他信仰有着开放的态度。七成的宗教信仰者，相信除了他们所信仰的宗教之外，尚有其它的宗教也能让人得到永恒的救赎。只有四分之一的人相信只有一个真理能够解释他们宗教的教导。
<P>这项调查是基于在2007年对三万六千名说英语与西班牙语者的面访，同时也是皮尤论坛（Pew's Forum）在今年发布的第二份报告。 <BR></P></font></td>
