<p style="text-indent: 22pt; line-height: 200%"><font color="#333333"><P>道德与健康之间有什么联系呢？咋听起来两者好像并无直接联系。但最近巴西医学家马丁斯对长寿老人经过10年研究发现，凡是长寿者，约90%左右的老人都是德高望重的。再从现代医学研究显示，道德良好的人与道德不好的人对人体健康及寿命的影响是截然不同的。
<P><B>与人为善的品性 </B>
<P>1. 道德良好的人具有与人为善的品性。这样的人遇事常为他人着想，很少为自己的名利与别人相争，办事出于公心，敬老爱幼，尊重别人等。也自然会受到周围人的尊敬，所以他心境宁静，人际关系良好，心情舒畅。在这样的氛围中生活，大脑是平静有序的支配着人体各种生理功能，使其处于良性的运转中，人体自然就健康。
<P>2. 道德不好的人常心怀敌意。他们对谁也信不过，与人相处经常戒备，处处设防，听人说话总在寻找机会反驳，坏事常往自己身上联系。报复心理严重，常与别人争吵，整天在紧张气氛中生活。这种人十有八九血压升高，進而发展成高血压病、心脑血管病缠身，又怎么能长寿呢？
<P><B>助人为乐</B>
<P>1. 道德好的人遇事出于公心，心情直爽，富于爱心，淡泊名利，宁静处世，助人为乐等。因此他们内心平静，不怀敌意，没有仇恨，朋友遍天下。现代医学研究证明，当人体处于平静快乐的心境，神经内分泌系统运转正常，各个脏器之间配合调节正常，各脏器间功能也就能正常发挥，自身免疫力增强，疾病也就无生长的土壤。
<P>2. 道德不好的人遇事出于私心，心胸狭窄，处处为自己着想，嫉妒心强，恶意竞争，为了一点私利而不择手段，斤斤计较，蝇营狗苟，心怀敌意，为了一点小事也要与人争吵；抱着敌意去听别人的谈话，找到机会就反驳等。由于这种人到处树敌，经常戒备，在步步设防的紧张心情中度日。现代医学研究证明，这种心情是诱发高血压、心脑血管病的危险因素。
<P><B>心胸坦荡，光明磊落 </B>
<P>1. 道德好的人对人对事都能胸襟开阔，光明磊落，故无忧无虑，无患无求，处于淡泊宁静的良好心态生活。这种人吃得好，睡得香，免疫功能健全，身体自然健康长寿。
<P>2. 道德不好的人心胸狭窄，为了一己私利而挖空心思，不择手段，胡作非为，其后又做贼心虚，整日提心吊胆，内疚，焦虑；听到警笛声响或意外敲门声就胆战心惊。吃不好、睡不安，惶惶不可终日，这种无形的心理压力和负担，使大脑皮质处于高度紧张状态，导致功能失调，使人体器官功能紊乱。特别使交感神经兴奋，分泌儿茶酚胺、肾上腺素系统增多，新陈代谢增速，体温升高，呼吸加深，心跳加速，血压升高，糖元分解增快等一系列生理变化。这种现象若得不到及时纠正，即可陷入心悸、失眠、头痛、头晕、食欲下降等心理危机中。若再继续发展下去，即可诱发精神疾病、未老先衰、闭经、阳萎；由于免疫功能减退，则易诱发各种疾病。
<P>中国唐代的著名禅师、寿星石头希迁，就曾以处方的形式告诫世人，他写道：“好肚肠一条，慈悲心一片，温柔半两，道理三分，信行要紧，中直一块，孝顺十分，老实一个，阴骘全用，方便不拘多少。”服用方法为：“此药用开心锅内炒，不要焦、不要躁，去火性三分，于平等盆内研碎，三思为末，六菠萝蜜为丸，如菩提子大，每進三服，不拘时候，用和气汤送下。果能依此服之，无病不瘥。切忌言清浊，利己损人，肚中毒，笑里刀，两头蛇，平地起风波，这几点速须戒之。”
