<P> “世界通”是“世界之门”推出的一款新型的安全上网、匿名浏览、突破封锁软件。用户使用世界通上网，可以隐去自己的网络地址（IP)、突破如防火墙、IDS、内容过滤等各种网络限制和封锁。
<P><B>和传统突破网络封锁工具相比，世界通最大的特点是：</B>
<P>(1) 支持浏览Web 2.0动态网站。Web 2.0是新一代网站构架模式（传统网站被称为 Web 1.0），正在使互联网从一系列个体网站成熟为一个有机的网络应用服务平台，在许多方面有取代桌面软件的趋势。较成功的 Web 2.0网站如 Digg（用户自治新闻），Del.icio.us（共享书签服务），Google Maps（古狗地图），Flickr（图片共享），YouTube（影视共享），24SevenOffice（网上办公室），及世界之门的“大千世界”服务。这种新型的Web2.0网页，由于采用如AJAX、JSON、复杂的CSS等技术，在传统突破网络封锁工具中经常不能正确显示，但在世界通中工作正常。 </P>
<P>(2) 支持多媒体播放。多媒体（音频、影视，包含网上实时电台和电视台——又称流媒体）已经成为互联网的重要内容。世界通支持包括微软WMP、苹果 Quicktime、Real、Flash等多媒体播放器。在通过世界通启动的播放器里播放的多媒体，内容自动得到加密传输。如果用户从世界通启动浏览器（如IE），此浏览器又自动启动了某种播放器（如Flash），播放器里播放的内容也是加密传输的。</P>
<P> (3) 支持电子邮件、即时通等通讯工具。今天的互联网用户大都使用电子邮件、即时通。但在中国那种信息封闭的地区，用户在网上的通讯内容往往被严格监视；另外，中国网民使用的电子邮件和即时通（包括国外公司的）多数将服务器架设在国内，使得其网络警察可以轻而易举地查获用户的通讯记录。媒体上报道过不少政治或宗教“异见”人士由于在网上的通讯内容被监控而不幸锒铛入狱的例子。世界通从两个方面帮助用户解决此问题：一是将通讯内容加密传输，二是当用户使用国外的电子邮件、即时通时，自动使用国外的服务器。世界通也支持一些网上电话软件（如Skype），但在这方面还有待改进。 世界通2.0版在1.0版基础上的改进和新加功能（参见<A href="http://gpass1.com/help2/cn.php">http://gpass1.com/help2/cn.php</A>)： </P>

<P>＊ <STRONG>世界通的加密运行程序管理系统具备SocksCap，FreeCap，TorCap之功能，且更好用。</STRONG>将要加密运行的程序拖入此安全上网程序管理窗口启动之。 </P>

<P><b>3.4.2.2主要改进：</b></P>
<P>改进了几个可能造成封锁的地方 <br>
3.4.2.1：改进了和防火墙配合的问题<br>
3.4.1：网络底层的改动，以增强突破封锁能力<br>
3.4.2：在 3.4.1 基础上修复了以下几个问题： * 界面语言预测问题 * 在计算机没有联网情况下启动世界通的问题 * 服务器检测不准确的问题 </P>
<p><b>3.4.0主要改进： </b></p>
<p>（1）用Skype 和 Tor 通道时，Skype 和 Tor将在世界通中“戴帽”启动，不会和任何中国和香港境内的IP相连。这样改进了Skype 和
Tor 通道的安全性。 </p>
<p>另外，世界通TOR通道不许要Vidalia套件（TOR的控制界面）。只需将Tor.exe拷贝到GPass.exe所在的文件夹，即可和世界通一起携带使用。GPass1.com提供Tor.exe的下载，世界通界面上也有连接。

<p>（2）Tor
通道增加了一个选择“每10分钟自动更换服务器”。选择后，世界通每10分钟左右自动更换一次通道的服务器，主要用于下载大文件时分散网络流量，但必须使用有断点继续功能的下载程序。TOR通道对分流最有效，因为TOR通道有几百服务器可用。世界通通道也可用，但只在三个服务器中轮换。</p>
