<p style="text-indent: 22pt; line-height: 200%"><font color="#333333"><P>在豫北淇县城北几公里处，有一座思德桥，几百年来，关于这座桥在当地百姓中曾有一个动人的传说。 <BR>那是宋朝仁宗年间，中原地带民风淳朴，有一年正逢朝廷开科大选，相州（今汤阴县）有一书生李牟骑着一头驴到京都汴梁赶考，过了碧水悠悠的淇水，临近中午他来到一个小河旁。 </P>
<P>忽然，晴朗的天空，不知何时飞来一朵红云，在头顶“喀嚓嚓”打个响雷，天空中顿时阴云密布，劈雷电闪下起白状雨来，书生忙从背上取下油纸伞，还没等他撑开遮雨，却又云开雨散，露出了太阳。正惊异间，突然听到前面桥上有人喊：“雷击死人了！雷击死人了……” </P>
<P>书生李牟忙催驴向前，果见石桥上围了七、八个人，一个六十多岁的老人静静的躺在那里，已经没有一点气息，一个三十多岁的男子正给老者放下绾起的裤腿。</P>
<P>“天理何在呀！”一个老太太在一旁哭泣着，“一辈子修桥补路，到头来落得这样一个下场。” </P>
<P>“哎，……，”其他人也纷纷摇头叹息。 </P>
<P>“怎么回事？”书生李牟虽然听到了喊声，仍然好奇心起，问围着的人。 </P>
<P>“唉！士子呀！赵石匠这辈子行善积德，我们脚下的桥就是他费了十年时间筑起的，没曾想一个月前刚建好，就……”当地人很尊崇读书人，忙回答他。 </P>
<P>书生李牟心里一阵激动：难道说真象人说的好人不长寿？正沉吟间，这时有人让他给死者提几个字，他二话没说，拿出笔砚，略一沉思，便在老者左臂上写下一行字：行善不好作恶好。写完顿觉不妥，旁边的人也唏吁起来，于是又在老者右臂上写下：行善更比作恶强。然后才与众人道别，往京城而去，一路上心情上下不定，满脑子都是做人行善好还是作恶好的事。 </P>
<P>二日后到了京城，找一个旅店住下，一夜无话，第二天一早洗漱完毕，独自一人出店在京城走走，京城果然热闹非凡，看不完的繁华景象，正忖思间，街道上几匹马迎面而来，上面几个官兵口里喊着：“出皇榜喽！出皇榜喽……”纵马呼啸而去。 </P>
<P>书生李牟举目望去，果然有一堆人在那里看皇榜，只见里面有一个举子模样的人高声朗诵着：“……三日前太子临世时，左右胳臂各有一行字迹：行善不好作恶好，行善更比作恶强。……今遍寻各位奇能异士，前来解朕心迷，撕其皇榜知其前因者朕定然……” </P>
<P>书生李牟大惊：天下竟有这等奇事，若不是这两日亲身经历，是万万难以使人相信的。于是他毫不犹豫的揭下皇榜，在金殿上，他向仁宗天子详述了两天来自已的所见所历，仁宗让他写出那两行字让两班文武大臣对笔迹，果然分毫不差，又派快马去访，打听到那赵石匠刚刚下葬。仁宗不再疑虑，随即加封书生李牟为本科第三名探花，锦衣还乡。 </P>
<P>李牟回家路过那座石桥，专门停下官轿，给那座桥取下“思德桥”三个字，把自已知道的故事讲给村子里的人听，告诉人们赵石匠一生积德，死后转生帝王之家，所谓天理昭昭，善恶有报，让人广传这善果之事！ </P>
<P>这故事在当地一直流传至今。 <BR></P></font></td>
