<P></P>陆绩六岁的时候，陆绩去九江拜见袁术。袁术给他橘子吃，陆绩在怀里装了三枚，走时一行礼，橘子掉了出来。袁术说：“陆郎作客还拿人家的橘子吗?”陆绩说：“回去献给母亲。”
<P>孙策在江东时，奉张昭、张纮、秦松为上宾，在一起讨论局势，认为四海未定，须当用武力平息。陆绩年少，坐在最后一个座位上，远远的说：“从前管仲辅佐齐桓公，九合诸侯，一匡天下，不用兵车。孔子说：‘远人不服，则修文德以来之。’今天人们不思道德怀取之术，而只是一味尚武，陆绩虽然年轻不懂事，私下不安。”
<P>江东虞翻和荆州庞统都是名士，年龄比他大出许多，但都和他友善。
<P>“一匡天下”这个成语最早出自《论语》，“匡”指纠正，就是使天下的一切事得以纠正。
