<p style="text-indent: 22pt; line-height: 200%"><font color="#333333">偷吃人参果的故事，在《西游记》中用了大量篇幅，这确实是修炼人的一个重大阶段。
<P>对此有多种解释，这里先介绍一种。
<P>修炼界有句话，叫做“不在五行中”，就是说身体已经不是五行构成的了。中国古代把物质分成最基本的五类：金木水火土。他们相生相克，构成了世界万事万物。据说国外科学家也找到了化学元素与五行的对应关系。五行构成的身体，当然要受到物质规律的约束，但是当修炼人通过修炼，改变了自身的物质基础，也就是已经不受这一层次物质规律的约束了，长生不老、返老还童等现象，就自然出现了。宇宙是物质的，但不只是人类所能认识到的这些。中医的经络、炁，所谓的科学至今也没有能解释明白。人参果是仙家宝贝，不能接触五行，吃了人参果，就相当于达到了不在五行中的层次。近年来，科学家证实发现了宇宙中还存在着暗物质。 人类对真理的认识是逐步的，但人的智慧总是有限的。
<P>但是为什么还要有弄断灵根的事情呢？就是修炼人在此时不能急于求成，不能以为跳出五行就是很了不起的，否则自心生魔，灵根断了，修炼人就彻底完了。幸好佛法无边，修炼人只要真念不灭，悟空就还可以重续灵根，转危为安。修炼人要时刻警醒，不能急于求成。
<P>顺便还要说明一个问题。西游记讲的是佛家的修炼，所以对佛家的事情讲得比较多，对于道家的东西讲得少，所以有人就以为是抑道扬佛。其实这只是不同的修炼道路所接触到的东西不同而已。佛和道都是现实存在，共同构成了我们这个宇宙，是一种共存关系，不存在谁高谁低的问题。佛讲普度众生，所以对大众介绍得多一 些，道讲究独修，许多奇异的东西是鲜为人知的。
<P>既然佛、道是客观存在，那么对于这种客观现象的介绍，就不应该被一概说成是借用佛家、道家以前的说法。释迦牟尼、元始天尊，他们只是人知道的，觉得他们十分了不起，但他们未必就是最高的。人往往会被自己的观念束缚住。</P></font></td>
