<p style="text-indent: 22pt; line-height: 200%"><font color="#333333"><P>据BBC报道，印尼9月26日宣布，又有两人证实死于禽流感。迄今为止，印尼已经共有6人死于禽流感。 最新证实的两起禽流感病例，其一是上周死亡的一名年轻女孩，另一是星期一死亡的27岁女性。 印尼卫生官员确认，他们两人感染的是H5N1病毒。</P>
<P>报告说，他们生前曾经接触过患禽流感的家禽。 印尼目前还有20人因出现禽流感症状被隔离入院、接受进一步观察。</P>
<P>8月和9月，世界卫生组织已连续发出警告称，近来禽流感疫情又在多个国家暴发，一旦出现能在人类之间传播的H5N1病毒变种，可能就意味着全球大流感的开始。有专家表示：“一旦暴发，可能导致数百万人死亡。”</P>
<P>据中国官方9月28日报道，中国卫生部9月28日公布了流感大流行的应急方案。 报道指出，“如果在流感大流行前不做好充分准备，一旦发生流感大流行，必然会造成社会和群众的恐慌，使经济活动和社会生活遭受沉重打击，甚至引发社会动荡。”报道说，中国历史上曾是流感大流行首先袭击的地区。</P>
<P>据BBC 的消息，中国是流感的多发地，每年流感发病数估计可达上千万人。在中国北方每年10月到4月为流感高发季节，在南方6月－7月会有第二次高峰。</P>
<P>报道说，1957年、1968年和1977年三次大流行毒株均首发于中国。1997年在香港人群中发现禽流感H5N1感染病例。1988年以来，世界卫生组织每年公布的流感疫苗病毒株约一半来自中国。 </P>
<P>20世纪人类曾发生过4次流感大流，即1918-1919年的“西班牙流感”、1957-1958年的“亚洲流感”、1968-1969年的“香港流感”和1977年的“俄罗斯流感”。每次大流行都给人类生命财产和经济发展带来灾难性打击。</P>
