<p style="text-indent: 22pt; line-height: 200%"><font color="#333333"><P>3月12日下午，全球退党服务中心和<<大纪元时报>>在美国首都华盛顿林肯纪念堂前集会，声援九百万民众退出中共。美国联邦众议员助理乔．希勾在集会上演讲时表示，他以美国公民的身份要求总统布什本周内召见中共驻美大使，要求中共大使解释在中国沈阳苏家屯发生了什么。</P>

<P>乔．希勾呼吁国会应该立刻对此事件进行听证调查，30天内提出报告。他同时呼吁国际红十字会和医生无疆界组成调查团进驻中国进行调查，美国前总统卡特和克林顿应该随行。他还呼吁 联合国应召开紧急会议，对此事调查，并在30天内提供报告。如果核查属实，国际社会应该联合抵制2008年奥林匹克运动会。 </P>

<P>刚刚参加了圣帕特里克节(St.Patrick's Day)大游行的“天国乐团”受大纪元时报之邀，在集会上演奏。陈汝棠先生说：“作为法轮功学员，我很高兴看到已经有9百万人退党退团，越来越多的中国人民认识到了中共的本质，在觉醒，退党对每个人都是自救、生死攸关的大事。只有结束暴政、尊重信仰自由、人们道德回升，才能使中华民族真正立于世界民族之林，这是我们大家的渴望。参加这个集会，也是向中国民众发出一个最强音－天要灭中共、退党自救、快觉醒。希望我们的号声能传达这样一个信息。”</P></font></td>
