<p style="text-indent: 22pt; line-height: 200%"><font color="#333333">中共当局加强审查，关闭大量网站，并将于日内实行“封网”直到奥运结束。而各地互联网空间供应商应主管部门要求，近期纷纷通知客户奥运期间要加强各项管理，甚至用奖励的手法建议网站在奥运结束前暂时自行关闭。
<P>据自由亚洲电台消息，中共当局在奥运期间从7月25至8月25日将全国性实行互联网封网政策，与以前奉行的审查删帖不同，在此期间有所谓信息安全问题的网站将第一时间被关闭，奥运过后才可申请恢复。此令已通过电信运营商传达到各地空间服务器供应商。
<P>大型服务器空间供应商上海的E动网网管人员星期三告诉本台：“奥运期间我们这边封网的，以前发现‘非法’信息我们会通知你删除，网站还能继续运营；但是在这段时间发现了，你的网站就要关掉，到奥运结束才能开。在全中国都是这样的。下达此令的部门是逐级下达，最高就是国务院了。”
<P>不少供应商已经向客户网站发布了相关的通知，并建议主动检查清理现有的内容，同时加强网站管理，对于交互式栏目如博客、论坛实施人工审核等等，甚至建议不能在奥运期间实行有效管理的网站暂时自行关闭。
<P>广西网络空间供应商明网近期一则通知就称如网站客户主动在奥运期间暂停其bbs博客等功能、甚至关闭整个网站，将获赠送免费空间等奖励，此举引起不少大陆网站站长哗然。
<P>除了呼吁主动关闭网站，中共当局的强制措施也正在进行。明网管理人员表示近日在公安部门要求下，他们强行关闭了不少含有所谓安全隐患的网站：“我们今天关了很多栏目，我们帮用户查，看到不行就叫用户关掉。 有的是根据公安部门给我们通知要关掉，今天我都停了几个站了。”
<P>而E动网的工作人员透露，近期审查过滤的敏感词汇又增加了很多，其中更包括京奥吉祥物──福娃：“新加敏感词多了，稍微沾点边的都会被删，因为毕竟非常时期。有一批是国家规定的必须不能出现，法轮功、西藏。现在福娃也不让出现，不时有一个帖子说福娃带来灾难嘛！有着几个字的都不让出现，删了好多帖子了。”
<P>有大陆网民表示中共当局各方面限制互联网言论自由的做法，令奥运变得压抑而充满恐惧。一位要求匿名报道的活跃网络人士说：“网络媒体的自我阉割，还有我们网民内心的恐惧。它现在封网、删帖，上个月，包括我还有几个网友，都被网监或是国保叫去喝茶，意思就是奥运期间老实一点，要不会有麻烦。奥运本身是令人兴奋的事，但现在恐惧大于兴奋。”</P></font></td>
