<p style="text-indent: 22pt; line-height: 200%"><font color="#333333">亲自陪伴上千人面对死亡，并且搜集来自世界各地两万个濒死体验之例，库柏勒-罗丝医生确信，在人死了之后生命仍有延续，因为神识是不死的。
<P>于5月中出版的《琉璃光》季刊，首篇文章谈“濒死经验与死后沟通的研究结论：神识是不死的”，根据库柏勒-罗丝医生(Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, MD, 1926~2004)的研究，很多人在濒死经历中见到已死的亲人。
<P>譬如有一次，她陪伴一位因为全家遭遇车祸而受重伤的小孩，临死时小孩变得平静安详，她问小孩有什么感受，小孩说：“一切都好，妈妈与彼得(哥哥)已在旁等候。”小孩不知道妈妈已死，连库柏勒-罗丝医生也不知道彼得死于十分钟前。
<P>库柏勒-罗丝医生发现死亡过程有三个阶段，第一阶段是神识离开身体，没有脑波，心电图呈现死亡状态；然后就進入第二阶段，没有时空限制，可依心念立即到任何地方，盲人在这阶段可看得见，哑巴可说话，聋子可听得见。第三阶段是超时空的回顾一生，地球上的时间也许几秒或几分钟，而心识的感受是多重的。
<P>随后又有许多医生研究死亡与濒死案例，都可与库柏勒-罗丝医生的发现相印证，其中受瞩目的是心脏科专家范拉曼尔医生(Pim Van Lommel)，他在荷兰十家医院以344个心脏休克抢救回来的病人为研究对象，发现18%有濒死经验。
<P>这些有濒死经验的人里，30%有经过隧道的感觉，看到了天堂景象或遇到亲人，25%有离开身体的感觉，与“光”沟通或看到彩光，13%有回顾一生的体验。
<P>有濒死体验的人，其体验对往后人生观起到了很大的影响，康涅狄克大学瑞恩(Kenneth Ring)博士总结出12项，诸如：(1)珍惜生命的一切，包括平凡的经验。(2)不再追求物质生活，知道那是虚假的。(3)失去竞争的意愿，关怀更重要。(4)灵性上不断的自我提升。(5)相信死后生命会延续。(6)相信宇宙中有超然的力量，有些人称为“神”或“光”。
<P>《琉璃光》季刊在本文里引用库柏勒-罗丝医生的著作《论死后的生命》(On Life after Death)，其实出版于1991年，该刊撰写这篇探讨濒死体验的用意，是因为受到西方许多这类案例的启发，想藉此来搜集中国文化中的濒死经验，或死后与亲人、朋友直接沟通的例子。
<P>《论死后的生命》这本原著只有96页，尽管已出版15年，在亚马逊网路书店上至今仍然不乏有读者给五颗星的好评。全书包括四篇论文，分别是“活着与濒死” (Living and Dying, 1982)、“死亡并不存在”(Death Does Not Exist, 1977)、“生命、死亡、死后的生命”(Life, Death, and Life After Death, 1980)、“父母之死”(Death of a Parent, 1991)。
<P>大纪元在2002年曾经转载了一系列探讨濒死体验的研究──〈打开生死之门 探索灵魂奥秘〉，共有十三篇。在第一篇专文提到，绝大多数濒死体验者都说他们感受到和平与快乐，而非痛苦与折磨。但也不完全如此，《天堂印象──100个死后生还者的口述故事》记载一位叫海德勒的德国警察局长对人冷漠粗暴，在濒死体验中看到自己被许多贪婪丑陋的灵魂包围着，其中一个灵魂张着血盆大口扑上来要咬他。
<P>《琉璃光》季刊在文末以库柏勒-罗丝医生的看法为结尾：一旦人们了解到在死时需要为生前所做的一切负责，那么，人们在世时将会改变他们的生活方式。
