<p style="text-indent: 22pt; line-height: 200%"><font color="#333333"><P>从前，在镇江有个船户叫龚撰，他靠在扬子江中打鱼和渡人为生。</P>
<P>有一天，有一富商上了他的船，想要渡江。龚撰发现这富商非常富有，身上带了很多财物，于是起了歹心。在船走到江心时，他趁富商不注意将其推入江中，结果富商命丧于此。龚撰将这位富商所携带的财物洗劫一空，全部带回了家中。龚撰从此不必靠打鱼为生了，摇身一变成了富翁，开始做生意，财大气粗，不久他还有了一个儿子。</P>
<P>只是龚撰的这个儿子从小就十分忤逆不孝，将父亲视为仇人，生性凶暴，总是扬言要杀死自己的父母。长大后更是吃喝嫖赌，将家业败坏殆尽。</P>
<P>龚撰夫妻两人仅此一个儿子，自然对他疼爱有加，但对儿子的不肖却是百般无奈，不知流了多少眼泪，整天怨天怨命。</P>
<P>有一天，听说有人能看到事情的未来和过去，龚撰于是跑去求解心中疑惑。那人对他说了四句话：“庚子八月西风恶，扬子江中波浪作；二十年前一念差，贵君试把心头摸！”</P>
<P>龚撰听后大惊失色，原来自己的儿子居然是当年自己在江中害死的富商投胎，是向他寻仇来了。龚撰回家同妻子一商量，两人恐遭毒手，便抛弃家业，逃到外地去了，后来因故惨死。</P>
<P>龚撰不惜害人性命来谋财，最终自己也没有得到，仍旧还是被怨家所拿回，而且阴间的惩罚在等着他。这是何苦呢？欠了债就要还，因果报应这可是天理。</P>
<P>现在中国人仍经常挂在嘴边的“怨家”和“我哪辈子欠他的”之类的话，看来还是有一定道理的。</P>
