<p style="text-indent: 22pt; line-height: 200%"><font color="#333333"> 五月十八日至二十三日，美国胸腔医学年会在旧金山举行，来自九十个国家的一万四千多位医生、科学家齐聚莫斯康尼中心（Moscone Center），进行为期六天的学术交流大会。五月二十日星期天，部份湾区法轮功学员利用这个机会向与会者们讲述法轮功洪传八十多个国家，以及在中国遭到残酷迫害的真相。
<P>这次美国胸腔医学年会有很多来自中国大陆的医生。据来自大陆某省的一位医生称，仅他们那里就有近百名医生前来参加此次大会。
<P></P><B>一位大陆医生的震惊与抉择</B>
<P>来自中国大陆的范医生了解到中共仍然在迫害法轮功时，他有所不解，以为大陆媒体不讲了，大家也都不再提这些事了，已经过去了。他提到，他们医院里曾经有个医生炼法轮功，江泽民迫害法轮功后，这名医生受到管制和打压。
<P>当范医生了解到中共活体摘取法轮功学员器官的暴行后，令他感到震惊，他说：“中共这么坏。”“太残忍了！”
<P>范医生表示，他本人不是从事器官移植的，但他知道，在中国警察什么时候要处决被关押的人，就会通知医院去现场摘取器官，这在中国大陆已经是公开的“秘密”了。
<P>范医生了解到中共残暴的事实真相，以及正在发生着的退党大潮后，当即退出了曾加入的中共少先队和共青团组织。
<P><B>专家学者关注中共暴行</B>
<P>维吉尼亚大学肺脏移植主任罗滨斯（Mark Robbins）副教授在接受记者采访时表示，他所在的医疗中心每年所做的肺脏移植手术大约在三十五例左右。病人等待器官的时间大概在半年不等。器官的来源是脑死亡者，例如车祸中死去的人。死者生前必须已经同意死后捐献器官，一般会在捐献者的驾驶执照上注明。
<P>罗滨斯副教授谈到在中国发生的摘取活人器官的案件，他表示对此应予以关注。哪怕是对在关押的极刑犯活摘器官都是不道德的。另外他表示，虽然在中国等待器官移植的时间短，但他不鼓励病人去中国进行器官移植。他说，存在的问题已经太多了。他并主动接受了加拿大独立调查团对中共活摘法轮功学员器官出售牟利的调查报告。
<P>来自伦敦的彼得医生表示他听说过在中国发生的对法轮功学员的迫害，但不知道中共居然活体摘取法轮功学员的器官出售。彼得医生说：“共产党是暴政，政府强迫人们做事，而个人没有任何权利。”他希望中国好起来，并希望再到中国去旅游。
<P>新加坡的安德鲁医生在看到中共活体摘取法轮功学员器官的展板后表示，中共活摘器官是个悲剧。他说：“你们在这里开辟这样一个场所让人了解事实，这样做太好了。”
<P>星期日在会场外派发资料的法轮功学员郑女士表示，她在派发真相资料时，想到中国大陆的法轮功学员为了坚持真、善、忍的信仰，竟然被活体摘取器官，被焚尸灭迹，她感到很难过。她希望世人能够了解真相，帮助制止在中国发生的这种暴行。</P> </font></td>
