<p style="text-indent: 22pt; line-height: 200%"><font color="#333333"><P>英国诺丁汉郡（Nottingham）的罗伯特·梅勒斯（Robert Mellors）小学是属于全国排名最底的25%的学校，学生成绩不佳。在校方引入“哈利·波特课程”，照搬小说中的模式和内容上课后，结果学生成绩突飞猛进，进入前5%行列。 </P>
<P>罗伯特·梅勒斯小学，完全照搬了“哈利·波特”小说中的模式和内容，学校亦分为葛莱芬多、赫夫帕夫、雷文克劳和史莱哲林四大学院。学生不用穿校服，可自由穿哈利·波特服装上学。教职员工更是扮鬼扮马，戴假发穿戏服，务求令学生愉快学习，投入课堂，改善对学习的态度。</P>
<P>校方甚至把一切常规课程融入“魔法”世界中。学生在上数学课时，念咒语、挥魔法杖来学习算式；有报告称，这些学生优异的数学成绩是由于这种特殊的教学方式。</P>
<P>此外，上英文课，老师会选一章哈利波特给学生当课文看，然后要学生改编成剧本；在体育课让学生爬上扫帚柄练习平衡；在信息科技课展开霍格华兹学校的虚拟之旅；在科学课学习西草药学。</P>
<P>该校校长钱伯斯表示，学校每个学期都会让学生投票选出一个课堂主题，今年他们选的是哈利·波特，之前的主题有铁达尼号、王子与公主等，而此次选择哈利·波特的“魔法”十分奏效，学习充满乐趣，学生表现得更投入，成绩和操行不知不觉中有了很大进步，这其中数学成绩的进步尤其突出。学校的排名亦由全国排名最底的25%的学校，跳升至接近最高的5%。<BR></P></font></td>
