<P>圣诞晚会已经连演了九场，每场结束后，来自不同肤色、种族和信仰的观众们，都会从各自的角度表达了他们对晚会的观感。</P>
<P>圣诞节当天晚会结束后，记者在大厅里碰到了泰尔(Thayeer)夫妇。先生戴维(David Thayeer)是一位退休工程师，曾经在美国政府部门从事潜艇设计工作；太太艾利斯是一位语言教师。艾利斯走到记者旁边，侧过头主动对记者说：“演出很美。”“好(good)，太好(great)了，很棒(Marvelous)、很美妙(wonderful)。”对于晚会，艾利斯一连用了四个形容词。</P>
<P>记者问，哪一个节目给你的印象较深。艾利斯说：“我喜欢演出的一切，节目扣人心弦(take my breath away)，无论是色彩还是其他，都那么自然。充满精神的力量。所有的节目都是那么的柔和(soft)、真实(truthful)，让我落泪。”</P>
<P>“服饰，对了，演出的服饰在我看过的纽约所有演出中是最好、最美的”，戴维说。夫妇俩看过很多百老汇的剧目。“这个演出是其中最好的，无与伦比”，戴维表示，“我希望所有人都能来观看这个演出。”</P>
<P>记者问，这些节目对于不同文化和语言背景的人是否会有感染力？艾利斯说：“每一个人，只要他有一颗心，只要他有感觉，只要他是个人，就会被感动。”艾利斯接着说：“今天这个世界已经有太多的仇恨其他的各种丑陋；这个演出太美了(so beautiful)，它直接来自心灵和灵魂深处(directly from the heart, from the soul)，太好了(wonderful)。”</P>
<P>戴维表示：“这个节目的天幕背景点明了人类是什么，人类是谁(what people are，and who they are)。全世界的人在各个方面都应当相互尊重。”<BR></P></font></td>
