<P>金圣叹：“一盘果子即李实也，其数二十一，自唐高祖至昭宣凡二十一主。二九者指唐祚二百八十九年。阴盛者指武当国，淫昏乱政，几危唐代。厥后开元之治虽是媲美贞观，而贵妃召祸，乘舆播迁，女宠代兴，夏娣继之，亦未始非阴盛之象。”
<P>一、众解精华
<P>【累累硕果 莫明其数 一果一仁】
<P>以一盘果，喻唐朝国运，图中一个果子代表一人，21果代表唐朝共21帝（高祖李渊至哀帝李祝），第4果无把儿，暗喻第4帝是女性。
<P>【即新即故】
<P>武则天做了皇帝，既是新皇，又是故人（过去的皇后）。
<P>【万物土中生】
<P>唐朝始于西元618年，戊寅年，戊对应五行的“土”。
<P>【二九先成实】
<P>29乘10为290，喻唐朝国运290年。
<P>《推背图》都是按时间跨度纪年的，故唐朝从618～907年，《推背图》记为290年，不是289年。
<P>【一统定中原 阴盛阳先竭】
<P>唐朝一统中原，但是不久阴盛阳衰，先后有武则天称帝、韦后摄政、太平公主专权。
<P>二、文征解卦
<P>卦为“姤”，音：够。下半部分是巽，指风；上半部分是干，指天。
<P>“姤”卦有“阴长阳消，桃色纠纷”之意。正合唐朝宫廷实情。三位专权女性，养男宠，秽乱朝政。“姤”：拆字为女后，喻女后专权。
<P>图中附加了1～6象的卦象演化，阴渐盛阳渐衰的规律极为明显。
