<p style="text-indent: 22pt; line-height: 200%"><font color="#333333">礼指人的行为规范。古代以祭祀之事为吉礼，冠婚之事为嘉礼，宾客之事行宾礼，军旅之事行军礼，丧葬之事行凶礼，合称五礼。<BR><BR>古人事无大小，均有与人身份相应的必须遵循的行为法则、规范或仪式等规定。古人常把不知礼之人称作蛮夷，而通晓礼义、又能身体力行之人，则被称作圣人。当年，孔夫子就是以知礼而闻名诸侯的。所以，小学生一入学就得学礼，其進退周还、取与去就都得合乎一定的礼节。<BR><BR>表面看，礼节似乎就是一系列的仪式，只是形式上的东西，其实不然。古人的一切行为都是以合乎天道为准则的，大大小小的礼节仪式也都是如此。<BR><BR>《礼记•乐记》曰：“大乐与天地同和，大礼与天地同节。”《礼记•丧服四制》曰：“凡礼之大体，体天地，法四时，则阴阳，顺人情。故谓之礼。”就是说，古代礼节的制定，并非随心所欲，而是取法于天地、四季、阴阳、人情的。因此小学生学礼习礼的过程，表面看是在学习为人子、为人弟、为人臣、为人少者所应该遵循的孝悌忠顺等礼节，实质上也就是了解天地运行、四时交替、阴阳变化、人之本性常情的过程。由此前往，最终达到自觉按照天地、四季、阴阳、人情的发展变化规律行事的高境界。
<P>那么，人间的礼又是如何法天则地呢？
<P>例如天尊地卑。天高地低，天为主宰，地只是顺从，天生万物，地成万物，天永远高于地，地的本分就是努力完成上天的使命。天尊地卑的位置身份永远不可以改变，否则，天翻地覆，一切就都乱的不可收拾了。
<P>《礼记•乐记》曰：“礼者天地之别也。”古代的礼节都是效法天地的，礼是天地之间的差异在人类社会的体现。比于君臣。君要像天一样纯正祥和，臣要像地一样忠诚顺从，全力完成君主的使命。君臣的身份地位不能随意改变。古代射礼规定，君与臣比赛射箭，臣要让君一尺而退，不能与君并排而立。为什么？君臣之别也。战国时燕王与燕相子之换位，燕王居臣位，燕相子之居君位，结果燕国大乱三年，差点儿亡国。
<P>比于夫妇。夫主事，妇顺从，对内相敬如宾，对外夫唱妇随，中国民间自古有“嫁鸡随鸡，嫁狗随狗”之俗语，都不是毫无道理。
<P>比于父子。父母要爱护养育子女，子女要孝顺赡养父母，父慈子孝。
<P>比于兄弟。兄要爱弟，弟要敬兄，兄友弟恭。
<P>比于师生。一日为师，终身为父，故曰“师父”。事师如事父。孔夫子去世后，弟子集体守丧三年，子贡一人又独守三年，共六年乃去。
<P>古代的礼节，林林总总，非常琐细繁杂。但不论巨细，都以符合天地的差异与发展规律为准则。这是人之所以成为人的根本，即人立身的根本，也是齐家治国平天下的根本。所以，小学生一入学就得学礼，学习孝弟忠顺等礼节，摆正自己在社会各种环境中的地位，守住自己在各种地位中的本分而无怨无悔。《礼记•冠义》曰：“孝弟忠顺行之，而后可以为人；可以为人，而后可以治人也。故圣王重礼。”
<P>而今，古礼被弃之无遗。人子人孙成了家里的小皇帝，全家都围着他转；无职无位的特权之人，可以呼风唤雨，指挥一切；传统的高雅的绘画艺术被冷落、被排挤，而胡涂乱抹的所谓现代派艺术却占据着艺术的殿堂；正统的神传文化、普世的真理受到批判打压，而各种邪说却占据着大雅之堂，等等等等。正邪贵贱，颠倒如此，社会能不乱吗？
