<P>周三(12月5日)晚，总部设在巴黎的无疆界记者组织及法兰西基金会宣布2007年度奖项得主，其中今年特设的“中国奖”颁给中国维权人士胡佳、曾金燕夫妇。 </P>
<P></P>胡佳今天接受大纪元采访时表示，这是第一次获得国际人权奖。这个奖项对于他和妻子而言是个意外的惊喜，同时也是个莫大的鼓舞。
<P>他说，“这个奖项也表达了世界对中国的关注。中国，尤其是中国的人权问题，已成为世界的焦点。这归功于所有不断将中国的真相传播到世界的记者及其他人权活动人士们，是他们让国际社会知道：世界上最大的人权灾难发生在中国。”
<P><B>胡佳：荣誉属于所有人权活动人士</B>
<P>据胡佳介绍，今晚7点多，无疆界记者组织的代表将胡佳电话连入他们的会议，询问胡佳的近况及对奥运前中国人权状况的看法。几分钟后，无疆界记者组织宣布将“中国奖”颁给胡佳夫妇。
<P>无疆界记者组织说，“这两位人权活动人士虽然被软禁在家中，但是他们继续尽可能让外界知道中国人民在准备奥林匹克运动会过程中所受到的损害。”
<P>对于获奖，胡佳同时表示感到不安。他说，“在中国有很多很多人为人权问题付出代价，有的尚处于危难中，甚至身陷牢狱，很多人的勇气和付出的代价远远在我们之上，所以我们感到很不安，我们今后会更加努力的做好更多的事情。我也希望藉此机会呼吁国际社会加大力度关注中国被打压的受难者。”
<P>他说，“这个奖项的名字很特殊，以中国命名。与其说是给我们个人的荣誉，不如说是给所有中国的公民记者们、人权活动人士，以及所有公开发出声音的老百姓。”
<P><B>胡佳夫妇因维权多次遭当局打压</B>
<P>现居北京的胡佳是中国著名的民间维权工作者，多年来热心关注受到不公正对待的弱势群体。他多次深入农村爱滋病地区做工作，保护爱滋病群体的权利。自2002年以来多次受到当局不公正对待，不断被软禁限制自由、殴打甚至拘捕。
<P>今年5月18日以来，胡佳再次被当局高强度软禁，9月7日升级，监控的警察增多，严密封锁，他被切断和国内朋友见面的机会，通讯也一度被阻断。11月9日晚，胡佳欲到医院照顾待产的妻子，在住家下面遭到北京市公安局国保总队的的警察拦阻，并遭到国保暴力殴打，身体多处受伤。
<P>目前，胡佳在家中被12-14名警察监控，外出则遭到8名警察的跟踪监视。他说，“这只限于去超市和医院，现在还不能判断他们是否允许我去别的地方。”
<P>胡佳的妻子曾金燕关注并从事各种民间社会活动，并为维权做了很多文字工作。去年2月，极力营救因从事维权活动而失踪的丈夫，通过博客等互联网方式向大众揭露事件及表达愤怒，引起国际关注。自去年以来，曾金燕也曾数度被强制软禁在家或被警察贴身跟踪外出。
<P>今年5月，曾金燕入选美国《时代》杂志2007年世界百大影响力人物。去年6月，曾金燕获颁美国二十一世纪中国基金会“受难者家人奖”。今年9月，胡佳夫妇获选进入角逐欧洲议会沙卡洛夫思想自由奖的决选名单。
<P><B>无疆界记者组织关注中国人权问题</B>
<P>无疆界记者组织是总部设在巴黎的国际新闻自由组织，它的年度奖项通常有三个：记者奖、媒体奖和言论自由捍卫者奖。
<P>今年的言论自由捍卫者奖得主是伊拉克的“记者自由观察；媒体奖得主是缅甸自由之声电视和电台；记者奖得主是厄利垂亚记者西由穆．谢哈耶。另外，埃及部落格作家卡里姆．阿梅尔获得“网路意见人士”奖。
<P>无疆界记者组织长期关注包括中国在内的各国新闻自由的问题。在该组织的网站上，中共领导人被列为新闻自由杀手和网路敌人。
<P>无疆界记者代表今年1月首次访问了中国，并与中共当局就新闻自由及释放被关押的新闻工作者等议题进行对话。6月底，无疆界记者组织表示，中共当局藐视国际社会，违背改善人权的承诺，因此把做为明年北京奥林匹克运动会标志的五环变成了手铐。
<P>8月6日，该组织的代表们在北京奥组委办公楼外举行新闻发布会，抗议中共对媒体的高压控制，并呼吁中共当局释放近百名仍在狱中的记者、网络异议人士以及言论自由活动人士。<BR></P></font></td>
