<p style="text-indent: 22pt; line-height: 200%"><font color="#333333"><P>一月三十一日晚十点十五分，二零零八年新唐人华人新年晚会在纽约无线电音乐城的第二场演出圆满落幕，剧场里弥漫着和悦的气氛。记者在剧场前排遇到满脸写着感动与满足的关约翰先生一家。<BR>

<P></P></TR></TBODY></TABLE></CENTER><BR>这是一个典型的中西合璧的家庭，先生关约翰（ John Kung ）是东方人，当记者问起他来自哪里时，他风趣的用上海腔说：“阿拉上海人。”关先生三十年前来美国，现在纽约州政府工作。他的白人太太戴安娜（ Diana Kung ）在教会作义工，他们的女儿十八岁，正在念大学。戴安娜介绍，这是他们继去年在百老汇彼康剧院观看了迷人的圣诞晚会后，再次观看神韵演出。
<P>当记者问其对晚会的感觉如何时，这一家异口同声的用中文说：“很好啊！很好啊！”关先生在一串开心、满足的大笑后，接着说：“我们为自己是中国人感到非常的自豪！非常的自豪！晚会再现了中国的历史、文化，非常鼓舞人心！”
<P>戴安娜十分郑重的补充道：“这是一台价值极高的晚会！喔，不，是一台无价的晚会！难道他不正在影响和帮助整个世界吗？”
<P>关先生表示最喜欢舞蹈传递的信息和背后的故事，还有那些意涵高远的歌曲，因为那意义更为重大。他说：“我爱那三个价值观——真、善、忍，如果人们都能去实践他们，遵循他们，一定能解决这个世上的一切问题！”
<P>当被问及如何看待晚会带给社会的影响时，关先生将问题转给了女儿。沉吟片刻，女孩说：“我想，晚会在唤醒社会的良知，在呼唤人们关注正在中国大陆发生的事情。以前我看过法轮功学员发的真相传单，那场令人发指的迫害使人类蒙羞！”
<P>关先生接过话题说：“晚会中的两个反映法轮功被迫害的节目非常感人！我想很多人对这场迫害一无所知，这（晚会）做得很好。我完全相信其真实性，因为我知道，共产党不讲人类的价值，不讲道义、不讲伦理，不信神佛上帝。这（演出）对人是一个很好的教育！”</P></font></td>
