<P>2006年9月，讲述中国当代食品安全现状的一部报告文学作品“民以何食为天”入选第三届尤利西斯国际报告文学奖。其作者——周勍也受到了国际社会的瞩目。“民以何食为天”一书已被译成多种文字，日文版在日本首次发行的印数高达5万册。2月13日晚，正在德国进行访问的周勍观看了神韵巡回艺术团本年度在欧洲的首场演出，并接受了大纪元记者田宇的专访。 </P>
<P><B>记者：</B>周勍，你好！听说你这次是受歌德学院的邀请到德国访问，碰巧赶上了神韵艺术团在欧洲巡演的首场演出？
<P><B>周勍：</B>对，我来自北京。一听说我来自北京，很多人问我：“你敢去看神韵艺术团的演出？”我觉得中国的事真是荒唐。如果说，一个人为了看一场演出，还要做出抉择，那实在是太荒唐了。
<P>哥白尼当年讲出了太阳绕着地球转。就因为这句话，他被杀了头，但这还不算最恐怖，因为普通人并不关注“地心说”这个话题，杀了哥白尼，还没有影响到每个普通人的生活。但是，假如我因为想欣赏艺术，来看一场演出，就把我关进监狱，那这个社会就真的是恐怖之极。看一个演出对一个人来说本来是非常正常的娱乐活动。
<P>我在中国，平时不看电视，也不看娱乐节目。我为什么不看这些东西呢？因为，我从小看的是“八大样板戏”那些东西，讲的都是咬牙切齿要革别人的命的内容。把非法夺取别人的性命的事，说的冠冕堂皇。我觉得非常恐怖，所以我对这些宣传深恶痛绝。艺术不仅是娱乐，它能够为人的身心提供养分。共产党执政的这五十多年，最可怕的是，它篡改了艺术的这种滋养人身心的属性。他们那种所谓的艺术是什么？是高台教化，是通过艺术来改造人。比如说，我在中国坐车，喇叭里就放歌颂共产党的歌曲。这就是一种强暴的行为，因为这是一党专政的意识形态侵入了私人领域。这种填鸭式的强行灌输，和一个强盗闯入一个人的家没什么区别。
<P>一个政权如果会因为老百姓去看一场演出，或看一本书就会倒台的话，那么它早就该倒台了，因为它根本就没有存在的理由。
<P><B>记者：</B>中共对神韵艺术团的演出好像很害怕。有留学生透露说，使馆通过学生会发通知，让学生不要来看演出。你怎么看待中共当局的这种紧张心态？
<P><B>周勍：</B>一个人作恶多了，他就不光是害怕风声、雨声。他连自己的影子都会害怕。
<P>去年底，胡紫薇在奥运频道启动的新闻发布会上，引用法国一位政治家的话说的好：一个国家如果不能输出价值观，这个国家是没有希望的。
<P><B>记者：</B>能不能谈谈你对晚会的整体印象？
<P><B>周勍：</B>我个人很喜欢神韵的演出。特别是喜欢那些民族舞蹈。从中我们可以看到，中国的文化曾经是一个非常具有包容性的文化。历史上的中国不会因为哪个人信仰了喇嘛教，就把这个人关起来。满人入关之后，首先是向汉文化表示臣服。从晚会的舞蹈中我们能看到人的祥和，而正是这种祥和的心态才能使人与人之间和平相处。
<P>另外，我本人是西安人。所以，我很喜欢《大唐鼓吏》这样的节目。为什么大唐是中国文化的鼎盛时期呢？我认为，这和一个社会的开放程度有很大关系。唐朝是中国历史上最开放的朝代。唐朝初期，长安城里住了5万外国人，高峰的时候，曾经有30万外国人。现在北京市外国居民比例如果有长安那么高，我估计中共会担心外国人把中国变了颜色。所以，我认为，一个包容性强的文化才是健康的文化。</P></font></td>
