<p style="text-indent: 22pt; line-height: 200%"><font color="#333333">最近，中国政府正式向公众公开一批五十年代的外交档案。其中，关于1955年“克什米尔公主号”空难的部份，最让公众产生兴趣。“克什米尔公主号”空难涉及国民党计划暗杀当时的中国总理周恩来，而最近公开的资料显示，中国大陆情报系统对暗杀事件所知甚多，甚至有可能在事前已获悉暗杀计划。在“克什米尔公主号”空难中，最终有十一人死亡；究竟周恩来是否明知有暗杀行动而让这十一人“白白送死”？这涉及周恩来的历史评价问题，所以特别显得敏感。
<P>“克什米尔公主号”空难发生于1955年4月11日。当天，计划出席亚非会议的中国代表团成员和随同采访的中外记者共11人乘坐中国租用印度航空公司的客机“克什米尔公主号”从香港飞往雅加达。当飞机飞到沙捞越西北海面时，飞机起火坠入海中，机上人员全部遇难。
<P>据中国官方一向的说法，“周恩来原准备乘坐该机，因受印度总理尼赫鲁和缅甸总理吴努邀请在仰光进行会晤，改变原计划未乘这架飞机”。可是，据中国外交部近期公开的文件指出，在“克什米尔公主号”失事的第二天，外交部发表关于“克什米尔公主号”飞机失事的声明却点出，早在1955年4月10日上午9点30分左右，即出事前一天，中国政府已曾要求香港英国当局采取措施保障飞行安全。这似乎显示北京的情报对事件有事先知悉的可能。
<P>有两点可以从侧面说明，当时北京确有可能事对暗杀计划所知甚详。据五十年前的外交文件指出，当时港英方面曾“怪我通知不详”；另外，在港英调查过程中，中国政府曾提供情报，包括暗杀事件执行者周驹的地址。
<P>无疑，在“克什米尔公主号事件”中，周恩来也算是其中一个受害人，但如果大陆在4月10日已得悉国民党的暗杀计划，并要求港英“保障飞行安全”，为何中国代表团仍然上机？对中国代表团及记者共十一人的性命，周恩来是否需要负责？
<P>必须指出，既然这次暗杀事件已发生了半个世纪，涉及的当事人也大多作古。现在实在是适当的时候重新客观地审视事件。也许当时周恩来有他的想法，也许周恩来受到一些限制无法通知这十一人，但这些问题，都应该通过客观的分析，让历史学家把更接近真相的资料向国人披露。
<P>除了“克什米尔公主号事件”外，据说近期国内也有作者深入调查了中国当代史上另一悬案“林彪案”。根据中国官方说法，1970年庐山中共九届二中全会上，当时是中共二号人物和毛泽东接班人的林彪在是否设立国家主席问题上与毛泽东意见相左，毛泽东疑其有异志。林彪在试图对毛泽东实行刺杀没有成功后，于1971 年9月13日，乘机和其妻叶群、其子林立果出走，但飞机坠毁于蒙古境内的温都尔汗。机上多人全部身亡。对于林彪之死，官方说法是飞机燃油耗尽而坠毁。也有不少人认为对该机的致命一击来自外部力量，比如苏联防空军的打击，机内被放置了定时炸弹等等。所有接触过林彪事件的人，大都认为此案疑点太多。
<P>据说，早在八十年代，就有中顾委常委向邓小平提出，趁他们这些老人还在，还历史一个真面目，为林彪平反，但据称邓小平拒绝并批示：“这是要林还是要毛、要共产党的问题，没的谈。”不过，七十四岁的中国国防大学离休党史教授王念一在近期可能出版的《再探林彪事件真相》一书的序言中表示，“我们有权呼吁大家来关注这件大事。”王念一又引述中宣部前部长朱厚泽为纪念胡耀邦90冥寿而写的一句话说：“在阳光政治中，历经议论、纷争、对话、交流、讨论，人们是能取得共识，最终获得相互认同的回答。”
<P>在西方学术界，大家普遍接受历史并无必要寻求一个固定的看法，并无所谓“官方定论”，只要新证据，旧的观点可随时被推翻。在中国，历史观跟政治挂钩，提出跟中国官方定论不同的看法，每每被视为“政治事件”。中国领导人近年提倡科学发展观和科学执政，历史讨论是否能够出现新的空间，其实就是验证科学发展观是否能够得到落实的其中一个指标。</P></font></td>
